Why is the Pro Upgrade more expensive (2,69€) than Pro version (1,79€)? Is worth it.

Im only taking off a star because you cant do anything other than pause play next previous and volume. I am thinking of buying the full version. I downloaded 3 other vlc apps tonight and this is the only one that worked right off the bat. Thanks for making such an interesting and cool app. Cheers.

Slightly confusing to set up on the mac end but after following the online instructions it now works like a charm! And its free! Thanks :)

Instructions on support page are vague and have no links. Waste of time. Oh, adds pop up every 30 seconds.

Simply the best! I tried other apps and found this one is working great.

This works much better than rival apps, and is solid on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about when they lament limited functionality - aspect ratio, audio settings, playback speed can all be adjusted from the ergonomic interface.

And thats what makes this app stand out. Buying the full version was totally worth it. Hasnt crashed on me once!

Does not work with VLC 2.2.1 with auto discovery nor with manual configuration. App is not optimized for iPhone 6/6+ screen sizes.

Please add the support of the portrait view for the ipad (just like the iphone version already has).

Does what it says. Free limitations: Cant choose from playlist (but you can skip forward and back between vids) Ads (on iPhone) Cant toggle full screen (which is null because you should be full screen before walking away from pc, why would you need to toggle it when this app controls nothing but VLC)

Excellent! Worth the price!

It wouldnt be fair for me to rate it higher or lower than 3 since my mistake is not their fault, but I really have no use for it either so dont know how well it functions. It looks nice and if it is as useful as the VLC Streamer (which WAS what I meant to buy) then Im sure its worth the money.

Looks nice but functionality is lacking. A simple browsing session showed me that app can not display directories with a large number of files. This is a serious flaw in my opinion since I classify movies under a few categories, therefore certain directory listings are large.

Earlier versions would stall during the autoscan. This app is great when it works, lousy when it dont work. ----------------- Yep, its the auto-scanner: locks up the whole phone, on new version and last version before that. SHUT IT OFF. Allow us to hit the Scan button AFTER weve entered our info. Scan really needs to be a manual start. The last 2 versions stall when searching for VLC. The latest version locks up totally, will not go into editing mode, and caused my whole iPhone to lock up if not crash outright. This was great when it came out, but this new version is unusable. iOS 6.1.2, iPhone 4S. ================== Previous Review: Works for both VLC 2.x versions and pre-2.0. There are some irritating FULL SCREEN ads that pop up- You cannot toggle Full Screen mode: And believe me, there are times when you really need to toggle out of FULL SCREEN mode, and then back in. Ya cant choose from a playlist. Ya cant choose content from the browser. But if my eyes were not deceiving me where it said the full version was 99 cents, then Ill just hafta get the full version. This app fills a gap created when Hobbyists VLC REMOTE was updated to remove access to VLC 1.x and 0.x- my heart is still with Hobbyist but Ill give this one a shot- it IMMEDIATELY found VLC running on 2 different systems running 2.0 and 1.1.9!

Doesnt work anymore with VLC 2.0. Developer wont update the app. Total junk and waste of money.

Your product updates and now I cannot use it, even though I already paid you $2.99 for the previous version!?! This is a SERIOUS issue and needs to be updated immediately!
